How about an option , in the staxrip log window , to open the output file after a successful encode ?

ie When Finished Do - Open Output File 

Wouldnt that be useful ?

Thank you for your continuous work on StaxRip improvements. It's getting more powerful and more complete every day.

Some things I noticed in the last couple of days while testing StaxRip:

1) x264
Only integer CRF values are allowed while x264 itself also allows fractional values like 18.5. Is there a reason for this restriction?

2) MKV
For language codes the Matroska specs require ISO-639-2 bibliographic. For example German should get the code »ger«. But StaxRip rather assigns the ISO-639-2 terminology code »deu«. MKVMerge corrects this, i.e.

i just updated to StaxRip.beta.0626.0617 and lost all my filter setup profiles and i'am pissed
a warning popup before changing defaults would of been nice or a option to backup profiles and import them back in
so many different filter setups i lost this sucks =(

Every file that gets encoded, i'm left with 9 useless files

1. .m2v
2. .ac3
3. .d2v
4. _log.txt
5. _StaxRip.log
6. .avs
7. _AutoCrop.avs
8. _Source.avs
9. .rip

It would be nice if they all went into a "temporary" folder that can just be deleted when the encoding has been successful. (Like how AutoGK does) Or an option to delete them once encoding has finished.

Could something be added for correcting the audio or subtitles delay before encoding when I notice in the external prevew that the audio or subtitles are out of sync?  I inserted DelayAudio(-0.5) in the Filters but it had no effect.

It's not about HD this time, it's about a sort of feature I'd like to be deactivated or, at least, deactivable.
Sometimes it happens that staxrip opens the last opened project and it may be a problem.

I've been using Staxrip for Blu-Ray encoding for a few weeks now.  For prep work I'm using bdedit to find the proper MPLS then using tsmuxer to demux the video, audio, and subtitle files with the option selected to pull out the audio as AC3 instead of DTS.   At this time I'm really not concerned about subtitles, half of them don't work right in suprip anyways.
